Job summary

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) is seeking catering staff to deliver championship fan service and expertly execute events at our venues in Toronto. You will oversee event setups, seating plans, and service flow across corporate and social functions.

The role requires 2+ years in catering or events, Smart Serve certification, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will coordinate with kitchen teams, manage staff sections, and ensure guest satisfaction with

Qualifications

2+ years of event experience, catering/banquet preferred.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
Smart Serve certification required.
Deep understanding of restaurant business principles and service etiquette.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Experience with POS systems and event coordination.

Responsibilities

Oversee catering events and a la carte service according to business needs.
Prepare and organize setup outlines, production sheets and seating plans.
Lead service execution and liaise with kitchen and clients to the dining room.
Supervise floor during events; address client and guest concerns.
Produce post-event evaluation reports, including financial data entry and analysis.
Attend BEO meetings and stay informed of updates via the change log.
Provide coaching and training to staff and ensure MLSE service standards.
Perform other duties as required and ensure safety policies are followed.
