Job summary

Great Events Catering Inc. is seeking multiple Casual Catering Servers to join our event team in Calgary.

You will help create memorable experiences at weddings, corporate events, galas, and private celebrations across Calgary and surrounding areas. As a Catering Server, you will provide friendly, professional guest service, help with plated meals, buffets, and passed appetizers, and assist with setup and teardown.

Qualifications

• Previous catering or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays.
• Reliable, energetic and guest-focused.
• Available for evenings and weekends.
• Professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, professional, and attentive guest service.
• Serving plated meals, buffets, cocktail receptions, and passed appetizers.
• Serving food and beverages throughout events.
• Setting and resetting tables.
• Carrying trays and clearing plates, glassware, and cutlery.
• Replenishing buffets, beverage stations, and service areas.
• Maintaining clean and organized guest and service areas.
• Assisting with event setup and teardown.
• Working closely with Event Captains, Managers, kitchen, and bar teams.
• Following food safety, liquor service, and workplace safety procedures.

Great Events Catering is looking for multiple Casual Catering Servers to join our event team.

We cater a wide variety of events throughout Calgary and surrounding areas, including weddings, corporate events, galas, private celebrations, receptions, and large-scale special events.

What You'll Do

As a Catering Server, you'll play an important role in creating a memorable experience for our guests.

Depending on the event, your responsibilities may include:

• Providing friendly, professional, and attentive guest service
• Serving plated meals, buffets, cocktail receptions, and passed appetizers
• Serving food and beverages throughout events
• Setting and resetting tables
• Carrying trays and clearing plates, glassware, and cutlery
• Replenishing buffets, beverage stations, and service areas
• Maintaining clean and organized guest and service areas
• Assisting with event setup and teardown
