Job summary

Lindt Canada is seeking a Store Manager to lead the Lindt Retail Boutique in the GTA. You will oversee daily operations, drive sales, and deliver premium customer experiences.

The role requires 2-5 years in retail management, strong bilingual communication in French and English, and a passion for chocolate. We offer a competitive rewards package including health, retirement and wellness benefits.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of Lindt Retail Boutique.
• Responsible for generating and driving corporate sales.
• Uphold exemplary customer service through modelling behaviour and guidelines.
• Monitor sales and labour to maximize profitability without sacrificing service.
• Recruit, interview and hire Retail Sales Associates.
• Supervise staff to maximize service, sales and profit.
• Train sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Timely ordering of merchandise and inventory management; loss prevention.
• Daily cash reconciliation, payroll and store administration.
• Develop knowledge of products and sales information to achieve goals while controlling expenses.
• Performance manage staff; contribute to performance reviews.
• Maintain store merchandising to company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and food/product safety.
• Cash handling and related retail duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of the daily operations of Lindt Retail Boutique
• Responsible for generating and driving corporate sales
• Uphold the values of exemplary customer service through modeling of behaviour and establishing appropriate guidelines
• Monitor sales and labour issues on a daily basis with a goal to maximize store profitability without sacrificing customer service
• Recruitment, interviewing and hiring of Retail Sales Associates
• Supervision of store employees to maximize customer service, sales and profit
• Training of sales techniques and product knowledge
• Timely ordering of merchandise and supplies with focus on overall inventory management and loss prevention
• Daily reconciling of cash with sales receipts, daily paperwork and accounting, payroll and other store administration
• Develop and utilize full knowledge of all products and sales information with a constant focus on achieving sales goals while controlling expenses
• On-going performance management of staff, assist in the preparation and delivery of employee performance reviews
• Maintain store merchandising presentation to company standards
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness and food/product safety
• Cash handling, inventory ordering and related retail administrative duties

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills
• Post secondary education preferred
• Sales oriented, able to develop/build business
• 2-5 years of retail management experience
• Good time management habits
• Strong oral and written communication abilities (French and English)
• Previous experience in a merchandising or presentation capacity
• A history of going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service

Rewards Package

The standard hiring range for this role is $57,000-$71,000 CAD per annum with a 15% performance-based bonus. The final agreement upon salary may vary based on market location and factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
