Job summary

Thierry Cafe in Vancouver is seeking a skilled Barista to join a busy, award-winning team. You will prepare espresso-based drinks, teas, and chocolate beverages with precision and care, while delivering excellent service in a vibrant, Paris-inspired setting.

Responsibilities include making alcoholic drinks, maintaining a clean work area, managing stock, and supporting team members during peak hours. Flex hours and a welcoming attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of barista experience.
• Secondary education completed.
• Serving It Right Certification.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work flexible hours as required (early mornings, weekends, nights and/or holidays).
• Professionalism and a genuinely warm inviting personality.
• Ability to multi-task and have an eye for detail.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Prepare non-alcoholic drinks including espresso, tea, liquid chocolate, cold beverages, etc.
• Prepare alcoholic drinks including wine, spirits, beer, spiked drinks, etc.
