Job summary

ATCO Structures in Grimsby, Ontario, is seeking a Project Coordinator in Preconstruction Services to plan, scope and estimate project opportunities. You will collaborate with the Business Development team to prepare well‑designed, technically sound proposals for PMC pursuits, helping position the organization for successful contracts.

This is a full‑time, in‑office role. The role requires a degree in Engineering or related diploma, at least 2 years of construction project management experience,

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical diploma, PEng, CET, CTech, PTech, or RET Preferred, or working toward designation.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in construction project management or coordination with a proven record of delivering large building projects.
• Design Build or construction management experience with knowledge of managing consultant teams is preferred.
• Familiarity with permitting processes and National Building Code; cost coding and estimating in Master Format.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Business Development Managers to understand project needs and limitations.
• Plan the opportunity response approach with internal responsibilities and delivery timelines.
• Attend pre-bid site visits and develop RFP documents for internal departments and external subcontractors.
• Develop schedules (MS Project/Primavera) and build construction estimates from floor plans.
• Review contracts and handover to the Project Execution Team after award.
• Champion safety and quality in line with ATCO HSE policies.
