Job summary

Les Câbles Ben-Mor inc. is seeking a wire rope splicer - rigger for on-site production work in Canada. The role focuses on splicing cables, manufacturing wire rope slings, and operating hydraulic presses to meet precise specifications.

You will join a hands-on team and contribute to safety, quality, and efficiency while upholding ISO standards and continuous improvement initiatives. Training and career development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Ability to read and write.
Ability to read imperial and metric measurements.
Ability to use a vernier caliper or other measuring instruments.
Good manual dexterity.
Strong physical capacity.
Ability to work in a team.
Punctuality.
Reliability.
Organization and attention to order.
High school diploma.
Experience in steel cable splicing is an asset.

Responsibilities

Splice cables and manufacture all types of steel wire rope slings according to specifications.
Measure, cut, roll, and assemble cables and accessories as required.
Coil (wind) cable.
Operate hydraulic presses.
Follow work procedures and deadlines.
Complete production reports or other required documentation.
Inspect products for compliance and strength.
Inform supervisor of non-conformities or equipment damage.
Participate in training of new employees.
Adhere to ISO standards and health & safety requirements.
