Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a Material Handler II to transfer product in and out of the warehouse, load/unload trailers, and move inventory with powered equipment. This full-time role offers a 42-hour work week and a base pay of $22.50 per hour plus a $0.50 shift premium.

Responsibilities include pulling orders, following WMS instructions, staging orders, verifying pallets, and maintaining accuracy. Safety and documentation are essential in daily operations.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED preferred.
• 1+ year related warehouse experience preferred.
• 1+ year powered industrial lift experience preferred.
• Powered industrial truck certification.
• Safety-sensitive with forklift operation.
• DOT regulated.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders accurately as assigned.
• Read, interpret and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) instructions.
• Stage orders and verify pallet counts and location.
• Identify and correct process errors before impacting the customer.
• Identify damaged product and take appropriate action.
• Prepare receiving, storage and shipping documentation.
• Follow location and work center safety and security policies.
• May train others in warehouse functions and lift equipment.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
