Ryder System, Inc. in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Material Handler II to accurately transfer products, load/unload trailers, and conduct inventory counts using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, adherence to safety policies, and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse. It is a full-time position with a shift pattern of 7:30am–7:30pm, five days on followed by five days off, or four days on followed by four days off.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Powered industrial lift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders accurately as assigned.
• Read, interpret and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions.
• Stage orders according to carrier location and verify: number of pallets picked as well as stage location.
• Recognize and correct potential process errors before actions adversely affect the customer.
• Prepare receiving, storage and shipping documentation retaining product accountability throughout the logistical process.
• Be aware of and follow location and work center Safety and Security policies.
