Safran is seeking a manufacturing operator at its Mirabel plant to operate robot-assisted sandblasting equipment and manually prepare parts for subsequent finishing processes. The role emphasizes precision, adherence to procedures, and quality documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (equivalence certificate not accepted).
• Experience in manual work in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work with attention to detail and precision.
• Experience with automated equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Rigor and organizational skills / priority management.
• Autonomy.
• Ability to work encapsulated (full-body suit including a helmet with oxygen supply).

Responsibilities

• Move parts using lifting devices.
• Install the part on a mounting fixture and prepare it with masks/tools per technical drawing.
• Carry out sandblasting on parts with robot-equipped equipment following procedures.
• Complete sandblasting with manual equipment, respecting parameters.
• Inspect parts to verify specifications.
• Complete QA documentation.
• Perform daily equipment self-maintenance.
• Conduct sand analyses (particle size).
• Contribute to continuous improvement of safety, quality, costs and on-time deliveries.
