Job summary

FTAI Aviation Ltd. is seeking a Robotic Operator (Surface Treatment) in Montreal, QC to run FANUC robotics for shot peening and waterjet stripping. You will set up jobs, verify parts, and monitor cycles while ensuring traceability and quality in a regulated aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating robotic automation (FANUC preferred) or CNC machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with fixturing and precise handling of components.
• Good documentation and process control to ensure repeatability and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate FANUC robotic cells for shot peening and waterjet stripping following approved programs and safety procedures.
• Set up jobs including part IDs, routing, fixtures, tooling, and parameters per procedures.
• Monitor cycle execution and record results for traceability.
• Maintain traceability and records in ERP and internal systems.
• Identify and escalate process abnormalities to Supervisors or Engineering.
• Support basic troubleshooting, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance.
• Uphold 6S and EHS compliance at all times.
