Qualifications

• Experience with sandblasting techniques and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to sandblasting.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical drawings.
• Physical stamina to work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Familiarity with abrasive materials and their applications.
• Ability to keep accurate blasting records.
• Good communication and teamwork to coordinate with others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting or finishing by sandblasting.
• Ensure safety protocols and regulations are followed during blasting.
• Operate sandblasting equipment and adjust settings as needed.
• Inspect equipment, materials and surfaces before/after blasting.
• Maintain accurate records of blasting jobs.
• Collaborate with painters and supervisors to support project goals.
• Communicate with clients about the process and maintenance.
