Job summary

Spring Loaded Technology, based in Dartmouth, NS, is seeking a Production Technician to join our growing team. You will build and test assemblies, interpret blueprints and SOPs, and run equipment safely while ensuring quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have experience in small-scale manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. A casual office setting and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with small-scale manufacturing is an asset.
• Experience with laser-cutting or thermoforming is an asset.
• Detail-oriented with solid math skills.
• Beginner-level computer literacy.
• Experience in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Build and test assemblies and subassemblies according to written specifications.
• Read and interpret short correspondence, memos, blueprints, and SOPs.
• Perform equipment setup, operation, adjustments and preventive maintenance.
• Use power tools and handheld equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain quality by inspecting and testing finished products against specs.
• Suggest improvements to safety, processes, tooling, and materials.
