Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Corp. in Canada is seeking an Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The role involves documentation, assembly, electrical test, machine test and inspection, with flexibility to work on different phases of operations.

You will clean parts, mount with epoxy and solder, and support sub-assemblies and fiber optic attachment. Experience in a manufacturing environment and ability to work autonomously or in a team are valued, along with good manual dexterity and basic data

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
Strong organizational skills.
Good manual dexterity and visual acuity.
Bilingualism is an asset (French/English).

Responsibilities

Clean and prepare parts using simple chemical cleaning procedures.
Mount product with epoxy and solder.
Mounting of other components, e.g. hybrid sub-assemblies, with epoxy and solder.
Hand mark devices.
Test components and assemblies after completion.
Sub-assembly fabrication for final product.
Attach fiber optic components.
May use SAP system to make transactions.
Assist Team Leader in training of new employees.
Perform other related duties as required.
