Job summary

Excelitas Technologies seeks an Electronics/Optoelectronics Technician to support electrical and optical testing in a cleanroom environment, handling wafers and chips through various stages of manufacture. You will use LabVIEW and VB.NET to develop tests, manage data, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• DEC in physics engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years' experience in electronics or photodiode testing.
• Knowledge of LabVIEW and VB.NET.
• Knowledge of microelectronics manufacturing processes is an asset.
• Lean - Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a safe, clean and orderly working environment.
• Support electrical and optical testing processes at various levels (wafers, chips, pre-sealing, post-assembly).
• Operate wafer and chip probers (manual and automatic).
• Use custom test jigs and measurement equipment; manage databases (SQL/Access).
• Develop and refine testing processes in LabVIEW and VB.NET; document criteria and SOPs.
• Help drive process improvement and SPC control in production.
