Job summary

Savaria Patient Care is seeking a General Assembler to join our Magog facility. You will perform assembly of elevator components on site, following blueprints and safety standards.

The role requires reading technical drawings in English and French, teamwork, and a strong focus on quality. You will work with common tools and contribute to meeting production targets in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Assembler or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the elevator or related industry.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings (French and English).
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions to perform assembly tasks.
• Utilize hand tools such as drills, C clamps, measuring tapes, hand screwdrivers, and saws to assemble elevator components.
• Use rivets and other fastening methods to assemble components securely.
• Install and connect all associated control wiring.
• Checking the parts and troubleshooting and perform any rewiring if needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
