Position Summary

Reporting to the Production Supervisor and located 100% on site at 2 Walker Drive, Brampton, Ontario, this position will require performing various duties of electrical sub-assembly and final assembly of Elevator models.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions on a Material Data Sheet under the direction of the Lead Hand.
• Position parts according to blueprints.
• Install and connect all associated control wiring.
• Check parts, troubleshoot, and perform any rewiring if needed.
• Install manual or electric door options.
• Perform cab assembly operations.
• Perform all final testing and troubleshooting.
• Position parts according to drawings.
• Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners to assemble components for final assembly.
• Other duties as assigned from time to time.

• High School Diploma and one to three months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures in English.
