Job summary

Desjardins is seeking a practice leader who will support the unit’s management by providing subject matter expertise to practitioners. You will coordinate and mentor experienced professionals and assist with management activities across multiple sectors.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, complex program execution and organizational impact. You will lead and influence cross-functional teams, develop talent, and ensure best practices are applied to deliver valuable outcomes for the

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of French is required; advanced English proficiency is needed.

Job description

As practice leader, you support your unit's manager by providing subject matter expertise to practitioners. You coordinate and mentor a group of highly experienced professionals and assist with management activities. Your initiatives require extensive knowledge of your field. You lead and serve as integrator on highly innovative strategic initiatives involving multiple sectors. You make recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives that require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. A strategic mindset, organizational savvy and sound decision-making skills are therefore essential. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields. You lead, influence and serve as subject matter expert to teams, senior management and decision-making bodies. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Develop your practice area and serve as its leading expert

What You Bring To The Table
