Job summary

Infotree Global Solutions is seeking a Powertrain Engine OBD Calibration Engineer to lead calibration for gasoline powertrain diagnostics. You will develop and validate OBD calibration strategies, verify performance, and ensure CARB-compliant thresholds are met.

The role requires hands-on testing, data analysis, and close collaboration with engineering teams, with travel for validation activities. Bachelor’s degree and OBD knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering.
  • Up to 3 years of relevant experience; experienced candidates preferred.
  • Knowledge of OBD and gasoline propulsion systems.
  • Experience with INCA, MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Canadian Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Powertrain Engine OBD Calibration Engineer to support the development, calibration, and validation of gasoline powertrain diagnostic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement OBD diagnostic calibration solutions
  • Perform hands-on diagnostic verification and validation testing
  • Calibrate diagnostic thresholds to meet CARB regulations
  • Support diagnostic system requirements and hardware development
  • Perform instrumentation, data acquisition, calibration, and data analysis
  • Troubleshoot diagnostic and calibration issues
  • Prepare technical reports, test summaries, and timing projections
  • Support hot-weather and high-altitude validation testing
Required Qualifications:
