Nova Scotia Power is seeking 2 permanent Powerline Technicians (Shift) to strengthen its Regional Operations team. You will perform line maintenance and construction, provide customer service, and handle trouble response in both one-person and team settings, while following strict safety standards.

Shifts follow the NSPI/IBEW Local 1928 Collective Agreement; you must hold an Inter-provincial Red Seal and a Class 3 Nova Scotia Driver's License, with the ability to travel province-wide and

Qualifications

• Inter-provincial Red Seal Powerline Technician Certification required.
• Valid NS Class 3 Driver's License with 2+ years driving experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks.
• Apprentices in final year may be considered.

Responsabilités

• Perform all aspects of line maintenance and construction, customer service, including one-person work and trouble response.
• Ensure safety by following established methods and regulatory practices.
• Shift patterns follow the NSPI/IBEW Local 1928 Collective Agreement and operational needs.
• Travel throughout the province as required.
• Participate in competency-based and regulatory training and on-the-job programs.
• Uphold environmental performance as related to EMS processes.
