Nova Scotia Power, Regional Operations, is hiring two permanent Powerline Technicians to perform line maintenance and construction work, respond to customer service calls, and ensure safety with strict adherence to protocols.
Applicants must hold an Inter-provincial Red Seal Powerline Technician Certificate and a Class 3 Nova Scotia Driver's License with at least two years of driving experience; willingness to travel province-wide and participate in competency training is required.

We are currently looking for 2 permanent Powerline Technicians (Shift) to join our Regional Operations team.
This position is considered a safety sensitive position. As such, the successful candidate must comply with the Emera Alcohol and Drug Policy which requires a confidential pre-employment alcohol and drug test in accordance with the Emera Alcohol and Drug Procedure.
Your primary residence must be located within 30 minutes of headquarters, and you will be available for after hour emergency service restoration, rotational standby duty and one-person work.
