Job summary

Toromont Cat is seeking a Field Service Technician - Power Systems to join our team in St. John's, NL. You will diagnose and repair Caterpillar equipment in the field and provide exceptional on-site service to customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years in repair and service of heavy equipment in shop or field.
• Valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician License.
• Red Seal Truck & Transport is preferred.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar ET and SIS is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors on site.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment.
• Maintain quality workmanship to repair Caterpillar equipment and build trust with customers during on-site visits.
