Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services and Systems Division is hiring a Power Systems Engineering Lead to join our PSE group. The role can be based in Ontario, Alberta, or Quebec locations, including Laval, QC.

The annual salary range is $93,000–$117,000 CAD, with overtime eligibility. You will provide applied engineering consultation across power systems studies, power quality analysis, substation design, and training, helping clients optimize performance, ensure reliability, and drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• P.Eng. License in any Canadian Province.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as Power System Engineer.
• Experience in Ground Grid Design using CDEGS or similar software.
• No relocation benefit offered.
• Must be able to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide applied engineering consultation for power systems studies, design, installation, startup, maintenance, repair and training.
• Manage assigned projects and job costs within budgeted estimates; interpret specs and design proposals.
• Provide technical solutions involving equipment design, testing, safety, reliability or efficiency.
• Perform engineering design duties applying engineering principles.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving for power distribution equipment.
• Mentor or lead other engineers on projects and review their work.
• Design and conduct specialized training for customers.
