Qualifications

• Valid 4th class power engineer's license in accordance with the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Act.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Ability to attend work on a regular basis and perform the duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, analyze and troubleshoot a boiler and auxiliary equipment.
• Monitor and assess environmental data and maintain a fuel delivery system.
• Analyze and maintain water treatment and distribution systems.
• Overhaul and repair boilers.
• Monitor automatic controls within the power plant.
• Operate, maintain, isolate and repair plant equipment.
• Maintain grounds and grounds equipment; snow removal and lawn care.
• Perform minor repairs within codes and regulations such as plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
