Job summary

Health Sciences North in Sudbury is seeking a Part-time Stationary Engineer to operate and maintain central plant equipment across HSN sites. You will respond to operational issues, ensure safe, reliable operation, and support Building Services in meeting CSA standards and hospital requirements.

The role requires a two-year Power Engineering diploma, a 4th Class Operating Engineer certificate, and at least three years in a healthcare setting, with strong BAS and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Two-year Power Engineering diploma from an accredited college.
• 4th Class Operating Engineer qualification with TSSA in good standing.
• Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps training certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers, central plant equipment, refrigeration and ventilation systems.
• Repair and monitor hospital equipment and systems to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain daily logs and ensure CSA standards are met.
