Summerland Health Centre, part of Interior Health Authority, is seeking a Power Engineer 4 | Maintenance Supervisor to lead plant operations and supervise a maintenance team in Summerland, BC. The role involves hands-on maintenance across boilers, HVAC, and emergency power systems to ensure safety and reliability.

This permanent, full-time position follows a Monday–Friday day shift from 07:30 to 15:30, with rotating on-call support and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualificações

• Power Engineer 4 certification or license required.
• Experience in supervision of plant/maintenance staff.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and train staff in a healthcare facility.

Your Role

As a Power Engineer 4 | Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day plant and maintenance operations, supervising staff, coordinating work assignments, and supporting training and performance management. You will also perform hands-on maintenance and repairs across a variety of trades, while operating and maintaining boilers, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), emergency power, and other building systems. Through preventative maintenance, equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, and compliance with applicable codes and regulations, you will help ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Work Schedule

This is a permanent full-time position that works Monday to Friday day shifts from 07:30 to 15:30. Rotating on-call is required with this position. This position qualifies for a comprehensive benefits package, providing added peace of mind.
