What you will do:

1. Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all Nutrien safety policies and procedures. Use the appropriate tools and equipment for the task and ensure the safety of fellow employees.
2. Perform day-to-day general maintenance of the Powerhouse.
3. Operate the Water Treatment Plant.
4. Operate in relief of powerhouse operators.
5. Perform light preventative maintenance of all HVAC and make-up air equipment.

What you will bring:

1. Second Class Engineer’s Certificate preferred but may consider Third class ticket holder working toward Second class ticket.
2. Potable water treatment experience would also be an asset.
3. Positive safety behavior and safety leadership.
4. Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors.
7. Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training.
8. Ability to make and implement decisions under all conditions.
9. Stable work record with 3 to 5 years’ experience, preferably in an industrial environment, is an asset.
