What You Will Do

• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with Nutrien safety policies and procedures. Use appropriate tools and equipment, ensuring the safety of yourself and others.
• Perform daily general maintenance of the Powerhouse.
• Operate the Water Treatment Plant.
• Provide relief for powerhouse operators as needed.
• Conduct light preventative maintenance on HVAC and make-up air equipment.

What You Will Bring

• Second Class Engineer’s Certificate preferred; consideration may be given to Third Class ticket holders working toward Second Class.
• Experience in potable water treatment is an asset.
• Positive safety behavior and leadership.
• Ability to work safely and effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors.
• Willingness to learn and acquire knowledge through training.
• Ability to make and implement decisions under various conditions.
• Stable work record with 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably in an industrial environment, is an asset.
