Job summary

Intel Corporation in Canada, Toronto, seeks an experienced power delivery design engineer to develop PCB- and SOC-level power solutions for next-generation GPUs and AI accelerators. You will drive end-to-end power integrity analysis, from concept through validation, working closely with silicon, PCB, and mechanical teams.

The role demands 5+ years in DC-DC design, strong SI/PI tool knowledge, and ability to travel globally as projects require.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years designing low voltage, high current DC-DC switching regulators to meet targets.
• Experience with SI/PI tools (Cadence Sigrity PowerDC/PowerSI, Ansys SIwave) to develop accurate models.
• Power delivery network modeling across die, package, and PCB including stackup and decoupling.
• Experience using oscilloscopes and DAQ for hardware troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Own power delivery design from concept to implementation across platforms.
• Perform power integrity simulations and correlate with measurements.
• Design and validate platform power conversion and management solutions.
• Design for debug and testability with telemetry, monitoring, and voltage margining.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of power delivery solutions.
