You will input flock data, follow feeding and lighting programs, and work closely with the Farm Manager to prevent issues. This is a challenging, hands-on role in a dynamic, family‑owned company known for quality
WHO ARE WE?
Burnbrae Farms is a sixth‑generation, Canadian, family‑owned company, operated today by the fourth generation of the Hudson family. We are proud to be one of Canada’s leading egg producers and processors, with farms, grading stations, and processing facilities across British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec.
Working with more than 400 local independent egg farming families, we provide Canadians from coast to coast to coast with safe, nutritious, and affordable eggs and egg products. Across our operations, spanning 7 farms, 8 grading stations, 3 processing plants, and 2 distribution centres, we collect, grade, boil, cook, and ship eggs nationwide. Burnbrae Farms has built a strong, trusted consumer brand, offering a wide range of value‑added products including EGG Creations!, Simply Egg Whites, EGG Bakes!, EGG Bites!, and EGGS2go!.
With a bright future and ambitious plans for continued growth, we proudly employ more than 1,700 dedicated team members across Canada.
You will be part of our farm team, where we pride ourselves on our friendly, relaxed, and collaborative work culture. We raise birds from day old to the end of their laying period, always with the utmost concern for their health and wellbeing. You will be working directly with our birds, monitoring their condition and providing care. You will also help us provide the birds with a safe, clean, and well‑maintained environment. This role will suit individuals who like to be active instead of desk‑bound, who like variety in their tasks where no two days are the same, and who believe in always learning and striving for continuous improvement.
