Job summary

Burnbrae Farms Limited in Lyn, Ontario seeks a hands-on professional for on-site, full-time permanent work on various size projects in egg farming. Reports to the Project Supervisor with no direct reports. Salary range listed below; travel is not required.

Role includes assembling prefabricated equipment, installing ventilation and material handling systems, and retrofitting existing equipment in active barns. This position emphasizes physical work in a farm environment.

Qualifications

• Physical activity in a farm environment (inside and outside barns) and ability to perform demanding manual tasks.
• Work in barns can be noisy, odorous, hot, humid, and dusty.
• Occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 kg.

• Assemble prefabricated equipment.
• Cut, grind, drill, and paint various metal components.
• Install ventilation, egg handling, feed and manure conveying systems.
• Help unload shipments of pallets and parts.
• Retrofit existing equipment, including working in active poultry barns.

Job Description

This is a great opportunity for hands-on experience working on various size projects in egg farming. Everything from installing fence to assembling large scale components of modern egg production barns.

• Assemble prefabricated equipment
