Job description

Join to apply for the Postdoctoral Research Scientist role at DataAnnotation.

We are looking for a physics expert to join our team to train AI models. You will measure the progress of AI chatbots, evaluate their logic, and solve problems to improve each model's quality.

Requirements include a strong understanding of physics—either a completed or in-progress Masters/PhD is preferred but not mandatory. Related fields include, but are not limited to: Astrophysics, Biophysics, Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Mathematics.

This is a remote position, available full-time or part-time. You can choose your projects and work on your own schedule. Compensation starts at $40+ per hour, with bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide AI chatbots with diverse and complex physics problems and evaluate their outputs.
2. Assess the correctness and performance of AI models.

Qualifications:

1. Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
2. Detail-oriented.
3. Proficient in mathematics, reasoning, and physical, temporal, and spatial reasoning.
4. A current, in-progress, or completed Masters and/or PhD is preferred but not required.
