This is a hybrid position with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.
The Lead Analyst will oversee analyses of qualitative and quantitative research to support audience growth for CBC English Services Entertainment, Factual, and Sports, and leverage these findings for monetization in Media Solutions. The candidate will lead and support a team of research analysts.
This role requires proficiency in both linear television and digital audience measurement, with extensive experience in reporting key performance metrics and providing actionable insights.
The Lead Analyst will evaluate research needs, recommend approaches and tools, and assess information requirements for decisions related to competitive landscape, audience targeting, programming, revenue strategies, advertising data, content performance, scheduling, promotional campaigns, and strategic planning.
You will work with Senior Analysts and Analysts to delegate responsibilities, prepare regular reports, and handle ad hoc requests on various timelines.
