Reporting to the Facility Manager, the Pool Operator is responsible for the daily operation of indoor swimming pools, daily cleaning throughout the facility, painting, general repairs, facility set‑ups, supervision of part‑time cleaning staff, facility supervision, completing required logs and reports, ensuring building security (including opening and closing of facility). During summer months, responsible for daily cleaning and responsible for trouble shooting problems at the public splash pad.

This is a unionized position that works 40 hours per week. The hours of work are 10‑hour shifts with a rotating schedule including days, evenings and weekends, and are in accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement.
