Responsibilities

• Lead a small crew through pool installation via excavation prep, base, pool assembly, plumbing, backfilling, and equipment setup.
• Assign daily tasks and mentor new team members.
• Perform hands-on installation ensuring proper leveling and elevations.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely.
• Keep site organized, safe, and clean and report progress to Foreman.
• Coordinate with drivers and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Identify issues early and implement practical solutions to stay on track.

What You'll Do

As a Crew Lead, you'll support the Foreman and help guide a crew of 1?2 team members through the pool installation process.

Your days may include:

• Helping lead the crew through excavation prep, base installation, pool assembly, plumbing, backfilling, and equipment setup
• Assigning daily tasks and helping new team members learn the job
• Performing hands-on installation work and ensuring components are properly leveled, aligned, and set to the correct elevations
• Using hand tools, power tools, and small equipment such as skid steers, compactors, and laser levels
• Keeping the crew organized, productive, and working safely
• Maintaining a clean, professional, and organized job site
• Communicating progress, material requirements, and site issues to the Foreman
• Working professionally around homeowners and coordinating with drivers and subcontractors
• Helping identify potential issues early and finding practical solutions to keep projects on track

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you bring:

• 1-2 years of experience in pool installation, construction, landscaping, excavation, or a related hands‑on trade
• Experience leading a small crew or acting as a senior or lead team member
• Comfort working with measurements, elevations, and levels
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery
• Strong communication and practical problem‑solving skills
• A valid Class 5 Manitoba driver's license
• Towing experience is an asset

Pool installation experience is an asset, but we're also open to candidates with strong construction, landscaping, excavation, or related experience who are eager to learn.
