Job description

Full-Time - Seasonal - Brandon, Manitoba

$26.75–$38.75/hour

Lead the Build. Shape the Experience. See Your Work Come to Life.

We're looking for a hands‑on leader to take ownership of pool installation projects from start to finish.

As Pool Installation Foreman, you'll lead crews, coordinate the work on site, solve problems in real time, and help turn a homeowner's backyard vision into something they can enjoy for years to come.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is already an experienced Foreman—or for a strong leader from construction, landscaping, excavation, concrete, utilities, fencing, or another skilled trade who is ready to take on a new challenge.

You don't need to know everything about pool installation on day one. We are willing to train the right person who brings strong leadership, good judgment, a willingness to learn, and pride in doing quality work.

If you enjoy being outdoors, leading a team, solving problems, and seeing a project come together from the ground up, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As Foreman, you’re the key leader on site, making sure each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

  • Lead, coach, and motivate installation crews throughout each project
  • Plan and coordinate daily site activities and crew priorities
  • Oversee excavation, grading, base preparation, pool placement, plumbing, backfilling, and equipment installation
  • Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Conduct daily safety, quality, and progress checks
  • Read and work from construction plans and drawings
  • Use measurements, elevations, and laser levels to ensure accurate installation
  • Operate or oversee the use of excavation equipment and other job-site tools
  • Identify problems early and make practical, timely decisions to keep projects moving
  • Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, safety requirements, and applicable codes
  • Keep job sites clean, organized, safe, and professional
  • Communicate clearly with homeowners, project managers, suppliers, drivers, and subcontractors
  • Provide homeowners with a professional and positive experience throughout the installation
  • Complete daily reports, job photos, and required project documentation
What Success Looks Like
  • Projects stay on track and move efficiently from start to finish
  • Crews know what needs to happen each day and work well together
  • Job sites are safe, clean, organized, and professional
  • Quality is high and rework is kept to a minimum
  • Problems are identified and resolved before they become bigger issues
  • Materials, equipment, and subcontractors arrive when they're needed
  • Homeowners feel informed, respected, and confident in the work being completed
  • Your crew is developing, improving, and taking pride in the finished product
What You Bring

We hire for potential, not just a resume.

  • A proactive problem solver who stays calm when plans change
  • A natural leader who can set clear expectations and bring out the best in others
  • Someone who takes ownership and follows through
  • Detail-oriented with high standards for quality and craftsmanship
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a physical, fast-paced environment
  • Confident making decisions and taking responsibility for the work on site
  • Comfortable reading construction drawings—or willing and able to learn
  • Experienced with excavation equipment, laser levels, hand tools, and power tools—or motivated to learn
  • A strong communicator who can work effectively with both crews and customers
  • Familiar with construction safety practices—or willing to learn
  • Able to learn and follow applicable building codes, installation standards, and company procedures
  • The holder of a valid Class 5 Manitoba driver's licence
  • Class 3A experience is an asset

Experience in pool installation is an asset, but it is not the only path to this role. We welcome candidates with strong leadership and hands‑on experience in construction, landscaping, excavation, concrete, utilities, fencing, or other related trades.

If you bring the right attitude, leadership qualities, work ethic, and willingness to learn, we'll help you build the pool installation knowledge you need to succeed.

Why Join Us?

This isn't a job where you'll spend every day behind a desk. You'll be outside, leading a team, solving real problems, and watching projects take shape in front of you.

  • Lead projects that create outdoor spaces families will enjoy for years
  • Take ownership of the work and see the results of your leadership
  • Work alongside a supportive, skilled team
  • Develop specialized pool installation and construction knowledge
  • Grow your leadership, technical, and project coordination skills
  • Build a career with opportunities to take on greater responsibility
  • Work for a company that values safety, quality, teamwork, and professionalism
