Job summary

Livingstone Landscaping Ltd. is seeking a Landscape Crew Lead to guide our landscaping crews on high-quality landscape construction projects throughout the season. This full-time, seasonal role offers competitive wages based on experience and health benefits.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in landscaping or construction, a valid Class 5 license, and demonstrated leadership skills to motivate and support a crew on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of landscaping or construction experience.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating landscaping equipment and power tools.
• Experience hauling a trailer.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support team members.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and perform physical labour.
• Reliability, punctuality, and safety-focused.
• Assets: Class 3 Licence with Air Brake Endorsement; Previous supervisory or crew lead experience; Landscaping crew experience; Basic horticultural knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Landscape Foreman in leading and supporting crew members.
• Install sod, plants, trees, patios, retaining walls, and decks.
• Operate landscaping equipment, power tools, compactors, and saws.
• Assign daily tasks and help keep projects on schedule.
• Train and mentor crew members on proper installation techniques and safe work practices.
• Monitor work quality and ensure company standards are met.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized worksite.
• Communicate effectively with the Foreman and project team.
• Assist with project documentation and record keeping.
