Job summary

The City of Red Deer is seeking a Regular Full-time Reviewer Analyst in Municipal Policing Services. You will perform daily checks, reviews, and audits on police records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with RCMP policies using PROS and related systems.

Ideal candidates will have a strong data quality background, the ability to guide officers on records processes, and experience with reporting requirements in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; 2 years post-secondary in related field asset.
• Proficiency with PROS, CPIC, NPIRS and E-Collision training is preferred.
• Strong data quality mindset and attention to detail necessary.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and maintain police occurrence files in PROS for accuracy and compliance.
• Audit and validate operational data, including UCR scoring, for accurate crime statistics.
• Identify data quality issues and route discrepancies to RCMP supervisors for correction.
• Provide guidance, training, and support on records management and PROS usage to staff.
• Conduct research and file reviews to support investigations and information requests.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure consistent policy application.
