Job summary

Richardson International is seeking a Production Worker (Packaging Operator) at our Portage la Prairie, MB facility. You will operate the packaging system to ensure products are packed, sealed, and prepared for shipping according to specifications.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Computer knowledge an asset.
• Experience operating mobile equipment considered an asset.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to work well as part of a team.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment.
• Operate forklift.
• Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting activities on packaging equipment.
• Perform cleaning duties as assigned to meet standards in all areas of the warehouse and grounds.
• Accurately complete documentation for all processes.
• Perform quality and food safety checks of finished goods and equipment.
• Operates in accordance with all food safety, safety, and fire prevention regulations and practices.
• Perform other duties as required.
