Job summary

Richardson International Limited is seeking a Janitor for our Portage la Prairie, Manitoba location. The role, reporting to the QA Supervisor, focuses on cleanliness and sanitation of offices and common areas with pro-active inspection.

Responsibilities include cleaning facilities, monitoring conditions, and proper documentation, while abiding by food safety, health, safety, and fire prevention policies. OT may be required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a processing environment and adverse conditions (confined spaces, heights, hot environments).
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; planning and organizational skills.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to effectively wear respiratory protection.
• Ability to work overtime including evenings and weekends may be required.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Experience with floor buffing, waxing is an asset.
