Jacobs is seeking a Plumbing Designer for our fast-moving Data Center practice in British Columbia, Canada. You will design plumbing/utility packages, prepare construction drawings for DWV, potable water, and related systems, and manage the schedule and quality of complex engineering tasks.
You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to establish design bases, coordinate with other engineering disciplines, and ensure client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule are met.

In our Mechanical/Plumbing Data Center team, we elevate our clients by delivering cost-effective and transformative projects. We understand that the success of our clients is about more than well-designed facilities; it's about well-designed strategies tailored for every market and every location.
We're looking for an energetic, Plumbing Designer to focus on our fast-moving Data Center market. Join us, and you'll impact our success by delivering innovative plumbing design solutions for our Data Center clients. You will design plumbing/utility design packages for our data center clients. You'll also prepare construction package drawings for DWV, potable water, process drains, storm drains, and domestic water systems.
You'll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You'll work with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to establish a plumbing design basis, coordinate with other engineering disciplines, Plumbing Engineers and develop a plumbing design package. The base salary range for this position is $40,000.00 to $50,000.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across British Columbia, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
