Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort seeks a skilled Plumber to deliver reliable residential plumbing services in the Kelowna area. You will diagnose issues on-site, estimate costs, and complete repairs correctly the first time while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Role includes installing and servicing piping systems and fixtures in homes, adhering to safety standards, and explaining maintenance tips. Competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Red Seal Plumber preferred; 3rd-4th year apprentices considered.
• Minimum 2 years of residential service plumbing experience.
• Valid Class 5 driver''s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and be customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide general residential plumbing services to customers.
• Diagnose on-site and estimate repair costs; fix and explain outcomes.
• Install, maintain, and repair piping systems, fixtures, and appliances in homes.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulatory requirements.
• Educate customers on care and maintenance and promote Reliance products.

What will you do?

• Provide general residential plumbing services to customers.
• Represent Reliance in a professional, courteous and customer service-oriented manner on each and every call.
• On-site problem diagnosis, accurately estimate repair costs, fixed right the first time and continual value-added communication with the homeowner
• Install, maintain and repair all types of piping systems, fixtures and other equipment used to distribute, supply or dispose of water or wastewater, including fixtures systems and appliances in residential buildings
• Set priorities and work assignments to meet established deadlines
• Perform diagnostics, repair, maintain, service and install equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Correctly instruct customers on proper care and maintenance
• Explain the value of Reliance products, services and programs on every call
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor or designate.

What do you bring?

• Journeyman or Red Seal Plumber, or 3rd,4th yearapprenticeswould be preferred
• Domestic Gas Fitter B License is nice to have
• Minimum 2 years experience in Residential Service Plumbing work
• Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
• Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position

• Outstanding customer service skills
• Experience in Refrigeration, HVAC, and Mechanics an asset
