Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort is seeking a Plumber Apprentice Technician (Level 3) to join our team in Canada. You will install piping systems, fixtures and appliances in residential buildings, locate pipe connections, cut openings in walls and floors, test pipes, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Registered Plumber Apprentice Level 2 or 3 with new home residential experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Physically capable of performing all tasks and shifts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install piping systems, fixtures and appliances in residential buildings.
• Locate pipe connections, mark positions and cut openings in walls/floors.
• Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand/power tools.
• Join pipes with fittings, cement, soldering, brazing or welding.
• Test pipes for leaks using air/water pressure gauges.
• Maintain safety protocols and comply with regulations.

What will you do?

• Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
• Install all types of piping systems, fixtures and other equipment used to distribute, supply or dispose of water or wastewater, including fixtures systems and appliances in residential buildings
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors
• Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
• Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment
• Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
• Set priorities and work assignments to meet established deadlines
• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Perform general and specific equipment inspections
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations
