Job summary

Mattina Mechanical Limited is seeking a Journeyperson Plumber to lead piping installations across industrial, commercial, and institutional projects in Hamilton and Ontario. You will install complex piping, mentor apprentices, and uphold strict safety and quality standards on dynamic construction sites.

The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate of Qualification or Red Seal, possess a valid driver's license, and demonstrate strong communication with diverse trades.

Qualifications

• Hold a Certificate of Qualification and/or Red Seal in the trade and be in good standing.
• Possess a valid Driver's License.
• Prioritize health and safety on site.
• Ability to mentor Apprentices and teammates.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to documenting project work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Install complex piping systems on industrial, commercial, or institutional projects.
• Lead site crew, troubleshoot tie-ins and coordination issues.
• Mentor apprentices and promote safety and quality.
• Ensure work is completed on time and to spec.
• Document project progress and maintain records.
