Job summary

Mattina Mechanical Limited in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking an Apprentice Plumber to learn on site and grow toward Journeyperson status. You will work with Journeypersons on meaningful industrial, commercial and institutional projects throughout Ontario.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in plumbing, pipe fitting, cutting, coring, digging, trenching, measuring and layout, while prioritizing safety and quality. A pre-apprenticeship background and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a pre-apprenticeship program or have similar experience.
• Hold a valid Driver's License in good standing.
• Are punctual and flexible with respect to project requirements and schedules.
• Work well with fellow employees, management, clients, other trades, and authorities.
• Ask questions to ensure you fully understand the scope of work prior to starting.
• Proactively seek new learning opportunities and take ownership of your apprenticeship development.
• Are committed to health and safety, completing apprenticeship schooling requirements, and tracking your trade hours.

Compensation: $21.08 - $42.17 per hour, based on apprenticeship level, skills, and experience.
