Job summary

Nutemp Mechanical Systems Ltd. is seeking a licensed plumber to join our plumbing division in Southern Ontario. The role focuses on industrial, commercial, and institutional environments, delivering reliable installations, maintenance, and repairs.

You will read blueprints, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with project managers and other trades, while strictly following plumbing codes and safety standards. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Licensed Plumber in ICI environments.
• Experience installing and maintaining industrial, commercial plumbing systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with clients and trades.

Nutemp Mechanical Systems Ltd. is a multi-trade mechanical contractor that focuses on the industrial, commercial and institutional markets. With 40 years of experience, Nutemp has evolved into a vertically-integrated, industry-leading mechanical organization in Southern Ontario. We are currently seeking a LICENSED PLUMBER to join our Plumbing division and take the organization to the next level.

YOUR Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including piping, fixtures, drainage, and water distribution systems in industrial, commercial, and institutional environments
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues, identifying effective and efficient solutions
• Perform inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings to complete installations and system modifications
• Coordinate and collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure successful project execution
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company standards
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and service activities
• Deliver quality workmanship while maintaining a strong focus on safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction

Your Qualifications

• Valid 306A Plumber Certificate of Qualification.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience working as a Licensed Plumber in industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) environments.
• Proven experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting plumbing systems within industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex plumbing systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, team members, and other trades
• Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship and safety
• Physically capable of performing the demands of the trade, including lifting equipment and working in a variety of site conditions
