Johnson Electric is seeking a PLC Co-op in Stratford, ON, onsite. The role focuses on designing and implementing PLC programs (Allen Bradley and Siemens), and supporting automation systems. You will work with HMI, servo systems, VFDs, robotics, and vision systems while mentoring colleagues in PLC skills.

The position targets students pursuing engineering, with coursework in programming, and requires English proficiency. Salary is CAD 22–25 per hour, full-time co-op term, onsite in Stratford.

Formación

• Three-year advanced diploma or engineering degree is required.
• Able to read electrical drawings.
• Enrolled in a program with programming courses.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in English.

Responsabilidades

• Designs, develops, and implements PLC programs (Allen Bradley and Siemens).
• Programs HMI, servo systems and VFDs.
• Networks robotics and automation systems.
• Programs and troubleshoots vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, Omron).
• Designs control panels, wiring diagrams and BOM.
• Mentors electricians and assists PLC troubleshooting.
• Contributes to continuous improvement in automation and robotics.
