Job summary

Bank of Montreal is seeking a Director of the Digital Assets Platform to lead the end-to-end product ownership, from strategy to delivery of an enterprise-wide platform. You will work across Commercial Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth and Retail, shaping tokenization, digital payments, and regulated tokenized assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience building or scaling digital asset, fintech, payments, custody or market infrastructure products.
• Strong understanding of digital assets, tokenization, wallets, settlement and liquidity concepts.
• Ability to translate enterprise use cases into scalable product capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own platform vision, roadmap and backlog for the Digital Assets Platform.
• Collaborate with technology leaders and business units to define and deliver capabilities.
• Lead cross-functional delivery across tokenization, digital payments, and asset settlement.
• Ensure governance, risk, compliance and operational resilience are designed in from inception.
• Partner with external industry and clients to validate use cases and accelerate adoption.
