Job summary

S.S HIGHRISE CONSTRUCTION LTD. in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a plasterer for permanent, full-time work on-site. The role offers CAD 39.00 per hour with a 30 to 40 hour workweek and shifts including morning, day, evening, and other shifts.

Starts as soon as possible with 1 vacancy. Responsibilities include applying, leveling and smoothing plaster coats, preparing surfaces, curing finishes, and creating optional decorative designs in the finish coat.

Qualifications

  • Secondary education required.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in plastering.
  • On-site work location in Vancouver, BC.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare surfaces
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces
  • Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required
  • Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
