Job summary

Canada Building Materials (CBM), a part of Votorantim Cimentos North America, is seeking a Heavy Equipment & Plant Operator based in St. Marys, Ontario. This is a permanent full-time vacancy with an hourly rate of $30.60 - $32.60.

You will operate heavy equipment, perform routine maintenance, support aggregate haulers, liaise with contractors on-site, and follow all safety procedures. 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule 6am–3pm and 2:30pm–11:30pm; reliable transportation required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Rotating schedule of 6am–3pm and 2:30pm–11:30pm.
• Reliable transportation to the location.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (loader, skid steer) safely and efficiently.
• Perform maintenance on plant equipment (changing screens, greasing, moving equipment).
• Provide customer service to aggregate haulers, as needed.
• Liaise with contractors on-site.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in ongoing health and safety initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

CBM Aggregates is seeking a Heavy Equipment & Plant Operator, based in St. Marys.

This position is a permanent full-time vacancy.

Hourly rate:$30.60 - $32.60

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate heavy equipment (loader, skid steer etc.), various hand tools, and other types of machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform maintenance on plant equipment as needed, including changing screens, greasing, moving equipment etc.
• Provide customer service to aggregate haulers, as needed.
• Liaison with contractors working on -site.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies.
• Participate in ongoing health and safety initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Must be able to work a rotating schedule of 6am – 3pm and 2:30pm – 11:30pm.
• Must have reliable transportation to the location (not accessible by public transit).
• OSSGD or equivalent.
