Job summary

Dow's High Pressure Copolymers site in Corunna (Ontario) seeks an Operations Performance Engineer to optimize plant value through EH&S excellence, reliability, efficiency, and cost control. You will work across Operations, Maintenance, and EH&S, applying MET and advanced troubleshooting to drive safe, reliable production of quality products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required by January 2027.
• Chemical or mechanical engineering preferred; military experience considered.
• Legal right to work in Canada is required.

Responsibilities

• Work with operations to apply problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
• Ensure MET understood and used; optimize plant performance with process automation.
• Diagnose root causes of asset utilization losses and document them.
• Maintain daily KPI trends; respond to plant issues and emergencies.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance during unplanned events; support safety and permits compliance.
